v0.26 Main Changes
◆ Garden revamp: Seeds are now added one by one and spawn little dirt piles in the garden. Plants grow visually over time and provide from 1 to 3 of their respective yield based on growth time. Plants die after 1 to 2 days (depending on plant) at max yield. Plants growth timer now properly saves as well as account for slept time.
◆ (audio) Added garden digging sound
◆ New enemy behaviour: Fire mutants can now throw firebombs at the player
◆ (balance) Slightly lowered amount of active animals in the world
◆ (balance) Halved chances of raining
◆ (balance) Pale mutants are now more aggressive when outside of caves
◆ New look at story item animation added
◆ All trees now work with the new wind system
◆ (Visuals) New art added: Stonewall built models, it now takes way less rocks to build, making it a much more useful building type. (as well as looking better visually)
◆Fixed some navmesh issues when placing happy birthday traps
◆Fixed armsy being able to fall into water at the bottom of cave 5
◆Added a safety net to bridge saving, to allow recovering it if anchor data gets lost. This isn’t retro active, broken bridges are gone but all the new ones as well as working ones from saves will make use of the system after saving
◆Added new snow covered rock, snow covered hollow log, snow covered dead wood & White rabbits will spawn in snowy parts of the map.

The Forest Gameplay Walkthrough Season 2 Part 1 (Alpha v0.26)
The Forest is an open world survival horror game currently in development for PC. - Build, explore, survive in this terrifying first person survival horror simulator.
The world - Enter a living, breathing forest with changing weather patterns, plants that grow and die. Tides that roll in and out with the day/night cycle. Below ground explore a vast network of caves and underground lakes.
Complete player freedom - Chop down trees to build a camp, or start a fire to keep warm. Scavenge food to keep yourself from starving. Find and plant seeds to grow food.
Build a small shelter or a large ocean side fortress. decorate your home with found items. Lay traps and defenses to keep a safe perimeter.
Gameplay - Explore and build during the day. Defend your base at night. Craft weapons and tools.Bunker down during the evening or bring the fight directly to the enemy.
Fight or Hide - Use stealth to evade enemies, or engage them directly with crude weapons built from sticks and stones.
A new type of open world, survival horror experience, Defend yourself against a clan of genetic mutant enemies that have beliefs, families and morals and that appear almost human.
