Update to #Starlink Router - New SpeedTest Results - January 15th
156I check on an almost daily basis the app version and router version of starlink. The best I can tell when checking today the router was updated so i figured it was time to do some checks to see if there was any improvements on speeds, latency or NAT types.
I tested speeds on Cell phone, 3 different speed tests on my computers, PS4, Xbox One, & Nintendo Switch.
After all of that... The best I can tell is the latency seems better but internet speeds haven't changed all that much, if anything the upload went back down to 15 Mbps average and the Download stuck around 80 Mbps average. There was no change in NAT type for the PS4 or Nintendo Switch, they are still a NAT type 2. The Xbox did keep its open NAT type with the router at least.
Not sure if this helps much but want to keep track of things better as I imagine there are going to be significant changes happening this year.
