1,471I don't think Dragon Quest is a hardcore RPG, so I think it's more Dragon Quest-like when it's a little broken, but that's why Dragon Quest 11 was so beautiful. I guess Hypnos Hunt is already like this.
But most of the bad gameplay in the battles was because "summoning monsters was too strong" and "enemies were too tough against physical attacks", so I think these two points have been resolved and it's gotten a lot better (the problem is that everyone who was excited about Dragon Quest 3 has already played it).
Movement
Increased movement speed when on a ship or Lamia.
Adjusted so that the ship speed is not reset when opening a menu while moving on a ship or when a battle occurs.
Added a function to switch between automatic and manual flight by pressing the menu button while flying with Lamia.
Profession
Hero and Martial Artist: Critical rate increased.
Hero: Power of the special skills "Falcon Slash" and "Giga Slash" increased.
・Warrior: Increased the power of the special skill "Full Body Slash."
・Priest: Can now equip the "Earthbow Hat."
・Monster Tamer: Decreased the power of the special skill "Summon Monsters" until the number of stray monsters protected reaches its maximum, and changed the number of attacks to 3-5 randomly.
・Monster Tamer: Changed the MP cost of the special skill "Beast Mode" to 30.
Battle related
・Limits have been placed on the number of times certain actions can be taken in one turn for some monsters.
・Adjusted some monsters so that they will not use "Great Defense" from the turn after only one monster remains.
・Increased the resistance of boss monsters to abnormal conditions in the "It's a Thorny Path" difficulty level.
・Adjusted so that both enemies and allies are less likely to be affected by the same abnormal condition consecutively.
・Increased the amount of experience points gained when defeating some monsters (Metal Chimera, Metal Hand).
・Decreased the defensive strength of all monsters except metal enemies.
・Made minor adjustments to damage dealt.
Other
・After visiting the "Medal Hall," the "Medal Hall" will now be registered as a destination for Lure.
・We've added a "Convenient Button" function that allows you to assign spells and skills to a specific button to take a shortcut to activating them. For details, please refer to the in-game Travel Tips.
・The number of "Elf Potions" required to give to the guardian in the "Temple of Trials" has been changed to 10.
・A treasure chest has been added to the "Temple of Trials," and one new "Gringham Whip" can now be obtained.
・Fixed an issue where the stat increase value was doubled when leveling up after using the items "Life Berry" and "Mysterious Berry."
・We've made it possible to reacquire some trophies and achievements by opening "Achievements" from "Plans" if they were not acquired correctly.
・Fixed other minor issues.
