UPDATED! How To Block Ads on Twitch Part 2
UPDATED 10/28/20:
This is a temporary fix and does not work 100% for everyone, but try it out and see if it works for you until a more solid solution is found.
Use to replace the text in uBlock Origin's Advanced settings.
I will make a new video when a new solution is available as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.

You must have uBlock Origin installed already. THIS WILL NOT WORK WITH OTHER AD BLOCKERS.
If you need to download uBlock Origin here is the links
For Chrome: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/ublock-origin/cjpalhdlnbpafiamejdnhcphjbkeiagm?hl=en
For FireFox: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ublock-origin/
HERE IS THE LINK YOU MUST COPY AND PASTE INTO UBLOCK'S ADVANCED SETTINGS:
Note: If you cannot see the full link, click on it and copy it in the address bar. Apologies for not including this in the video. Not sure why YouTube shortens the link.

Make sure it looks exactly like how I did it in the video.
Credit to Reddit user EyeTiger for coming up with the solution, I'm just sharing how to do it so we can all enjoy Twitch without ads again. I haven't gotten a single ad in 24 hours since I changed it.
Here is the Reddit link with text instructions and additional information: (Updated October 28th 2020)

For those that are deaf, or had trouble following the video, here are the instructions in text.
Note: Once again, you must have uBlock origin already installed.
If you are using Chrome, you will find the uBlock origin icon in the top right, just like I did in the video.
If you are using another internet browser, locate your extensions/addons and locate uBlock Origin.
1. Click on the uBlock Origin icon and you will see a small interface popup.
2. Click on the button on the bottom right, that opens up a new tab to the settings page.
3. Make sure the settings tab at the top is clicked. Then check the box next to 'I Am an Advanced User (required reading)'.
4. After doing this, you should see three gear icons popup to the right of the text, click the gear icon that just appeared. A new tab will open.
5. Look at the bottom, at the last line of code called, "Userresourcelocation" you may or may not see additional text next to it that says "unset". If so, delete the text that says "unset"
6. Copy and Paste this where the 'unset' text was, across from "Userresourcelocation" :

7. Click Apply Changes button at the top. You can close this tab now to return to the settings tab.
8. Click on 'Filter Lists' tab.
9. Click on "Purge all caches", this will cause the 'Update Now" button to light up, click on that after.
10. Wait a minute for everything to load up, reset your browser and you should be able to watch Twitch with no ads hopefully.
