In this #Shorts I explain how to quickly free up resources on your PC using GPU Scheduling. This is also known as Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling. This means more performance and free performance for your GPU, CPU, and PC. For streamers using a single PC setup, this will radically improve your framerate in your games while streaming. This is even better than the previously praised "Run OBS in ADMIN Mode" method.
While this is not a full tutorial; it does provide some very valuable information. The full tutorial for this topic of improving the GPU performance can be found in the link below. The information contained in this video is similar to what you may see on channels like JayzTwoCents, Bitwit, and Linus Tech Tips. This is a tips and tricks video that provides valuable information for PC Gamers and beginners who are new to PC gaming. My PC contains an Nvidia Geforce RTX 3070 and I can vouch for this massive performance increase. Whether you are playing games on your PC or if you are live streaming on Twitch, or Facebook gaming, or even YouTube; then you need to enable GPU Scheduling. You don't want to leave performance on the table.
Turning on GPU Scheduling in Windows 10 will provide the following benefits:
- Frame Rate performance increase also known as FPS boost
- No dropped frames while streaming
- Perfect stream quality for Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook Gaming.
- Improved CPU performance.
- Improved GPU performance.
This video and this tip is perfect for content creators, streamers on Twitch, YouTube, Facebook Gaming, gamers, people who are looking to learn how to stream on Twitch or any other platform, and people who are looking to improve their PC performance while streaming and gaming on a single PC. This is basically a free PC upgrade. You can monitor the performance increase in OBS studio or stream labs OBS which is also known as SLOBS.
Enable GPU scheduling can improve frame rate while streaming. A better framerate means better performance in games like Fortnite, Apex Legends, Warzone, Call of Duty, Halo the master chief collection also known as Halo MCC, Cyberpunk 2077, Forza Horizon, the Witcher, doom, doom eternal, assassins creed Valhalla, Player Unknown Battlegrounds also known as PUBG, and of course any other first person shooter or battle royale game you can think of. This is not limited to FPS or BR games. This technically will work on any game on a gaming PC.
As Nvidia says, frames win games. This works on both Nvidia and AMD graphics cards. Since we are in the middle of a world wide GPU shortage, this is the best way to get extra performance for free while streaming.
Again, this is one simple change you can make easily to get extra performance. However, I would highly recommend you watch the full tutorial. The link can be found below.
