In this episode of our power of PC podcast, we discuss a lot of topics. The time stamps can be found below. But here are the details.
This is a podcast video series that I host with my friends and another fellow content creator who goes by TheRealFloc. This video opens up with updates about what we have been up to. Supercharger(Jon) bought a new gaming laptop which is the Razer Blade 15 Gaming Laptop 4K OLED. TheRealFloc(Max) bought a new standing desk for content creation. He also just recently moved nd has created an ultimate gaming, streaming, and content creation setup. ErockOnDeck(Eric) recently upgraded his gaming and office chair. He bought the RESPAWN 215 SPECTER which is made for gaming and functional for work. Erock's new gaming chair has been a massive upgrade.
The guys also talk about Outriders and basically provide a mini review of the game. Basically, Outriders was not what we hoped it to be. Outriders was plaued with similar issues as a lot of other AAA games we have seen over the years. These games include but are not limited to Call of Duty, Assassins Creed, Halo the Master Chief Collection, Destiny, Destiny 2, the Division, No Man's Sky, Cyberpunk 2077, and many more! The issues discussed here are technical issues and glitches such as server connectivity and a lack of planned content.
The next topic was about the possible new graphics card from Nvidia. This is potentially called the Nvidia Geforce RTX 3080 Ti. We talk about why Nvidia may be trying to make this GPU and how it could even be possible. We also talk about the truth behind the graphics card shortages. The truth may not be what you think. The truth may surprise you.
We also talk about gaming laptops and how so many people are buying gaming laptops because they can't get gaming desktops.
We discuss the massive Water Cooling project I just completed. We share the story of what it was like to water cool my gaming PC. This was our first ever water cooling gaming PC. We also talked about different tips and tricks for liquid cooling a gaming PC. We also compared all in one liquid cooling kits, also known as, AIOs to a custom water cooling loop. We reference Harris Heller from the Alpha Gaming YouTube channel and his custom gaming PC.
We talked about our most anticipated upcoming games. TheRealFloc is really excited for Resident Evil Village or Resident Evil 8, Mass Effect Legendary Edition , and Total War: ROME REMASTERED. Supercharger(Jon) is looking forward to The Day Before, Divided Land, Amazon New World, and Valheim's content update. Erock is looking forward to playing The Epic Games Store Core, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond, Pokémon Shining Pearl, and Halo Infinite.
We finish the podcast by talking about PC Gaming and budget PC builds. We ask the question if a budget gaming PC is worth it compared to the PlayStation 5 or the Xbox Series X in 2021. Right now, we understand we have a world wide graphics card shortage and because of that; gaming Pcs are hard to build. However, when things are back to normal, would it then be worth it to still build a budget Gaming PC? I think a gaming PC or even just a PC that is used for a general workflow and productivity is always a good investment. But if the budget gaming PC cannot perform on par or even a little about next gen consoles, then what is the point?
