In this video, I discuss Xbox Game Pass for PC. Should you buy Game Pass for PC? Is Game Pass worth it? I discuss the pros and cons of Xbox Game Pass. The price of Game Pass is fair. Honestly, Xbox Game Pass offers a lot of value. You get access to the EA Vault with EA Play, access to almost 200 games, access to all Xbox first party games days one, and even more.
If you are new to Xbox Game Pass for PC, then you can sign up for as little as $1. From there, the subscription is $10 per month for either console or PC. You can also choose Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which gives you access to everything. This includes Xbox Live, Xbox Game Pass for console, Xbox Game Pass for PC, Game Pass on Android mobile devices, access to EA Play, and even special perks and discounts.
Xbox Game Pass also offers access to many Bethesda games. Microsoft recently acquired Bethesda and made them a first party development studio for Xbox Game Studios. This is a huge benefit. Xbox Game Pass is basically the Netflix for video games. The difference is that you can't stream the games directly from the library. You have to download and install the games directly to your hard drive.
Game Pass is also similar to Netflix, Disney Plus, or any other streaming service because the games rotate in and out each month. Microsoft offers you a chance to permanently buy the games at a discounted rate before they leave the game pass library.
Xbox Game Pass also offers access to all Xbox Game Studios first party titles day one. This means when a game like Halo Infinite, Gears of War 6, Fable, Forza, or anything else releases on Xbox; it will also release on PC the same day. This is a massive breakthrough for the gaming industry and has really closed the gap between console gaming and PC gaming.
Often times, the selection of games on PC is not as strong as the selection of games on console. Xbox often has more games to choose from and more popular games to choose from.
