Upgrades in Soulflayer - Let's Play DDDA: Mystic Knight (Part 9)
0In this episode, we'll start in Gran Soren and do Chasing Shadows by following Julien around until he gets to Madeleine's shop in the Vinery, and then tell Arsmith all about it, then put on the Warrior kit and throw my pawn into the ocean, swing by Fournival to get more party accessories, but then recall that we'd have an easier time with Triple Tooth, so I foolishly head into Soulflayer Canyon's west entrance and get absolutely annihilated by the Hobgoblins, realize the error of my ways and return to Gran Soren, switch back to Mystic Knight, realize I have been using thew wrong weapon this whole time and then return to Barta Crags to try Sky Rapture against the Snow Harpies, and then head inside and decimate the Hobgoblins and Snow Harpies with Firecounter, try Holycounter against the spiders, JUMP OFF THE EDGE accidentally and die, do it all over again but with gusto, run around the area collecting all sorts of loot, come up against Phantasms whom my pawn and I are basically helpless against, engage them for a long time but eventually move on, kick the butts of more Hobgoblins and Striped Saurians, find the sword Caladbolg which immediately grants us chain lightning with each melee attack, then lose my cool and look up the location of Triple Tooth, decide to finally use the map and go the right way, find Triple Tooth, fight the Cyclops who honestly can't touch us especially now that I can zap his face repeatedly with Caladbolg, and finally find the Steel Beak which is an even better weapon for Mystic Knight (Can't wait to use that!)
