UPGRADING A $50 MECHANICAL KEYBOARD
TYPING EXPERIENCE
From OEM, XDA and Cherry profile keycaps, I thought ASA profile would be too high since it's a bit similar to SA profile. I honestly wanted to try SA profile but looking at the pictures online... man... Idk... it's freakin taller than ASA :D It doesn't bother me at all every time I switch from keys to another keys unlike Cherry and OEM or is it just me. But I prefer XDA and now ASA than the rest of the profiles that I've tried. I can't seem to find KAT profile that isn't white, luckily Akko has their ASA profile line up recently. I maybe hearing a slight difference in terms of sound from using PE foam under pcb than stock one. PE + TEMPEST MOD will be my go to now for modding keebs but I still haven't tried HOLEE MOD since I don't think I need it right now. Lubing switches was a pain the ass but it's damn worth it at the end. As for the sound, it has that "POP" sound specially when I hit the spacebar, backspace and enter key. I might have to lube my left shift stabs but not right now.... I'm freakin' done with this. xD It's more of a "POP" than "THOCC" sound.
