UROV2: Cavern of Pride, Part 1 (Ping pong paddle route)
0Yeah, this dungeon is tricky. Oh, by the way, I hope you don't immediately die after the whirlpool. If you do, you get sent back to Lord Britian's Castle and have to steal another boat.
The Cavern of Pride is located in the basement of the Cove. So you have a mini-dungeon before the main one.
The first room of the Cavern has hidden teleport spaces. And the first ladder you come across takes you back outside. I think the hammer is there in case you mess up the jar and barrel pushing puzzle.
In the second room, every box turns into a tiger.
In the third room, most of the trolls will ignore you unless you get to the center table in the center room.
The fourth room is the Cavern's main gimmick. You have four paths, each leading to a damn good item. All are worth collecting, although only one is necessary.
To the north, you can collect a ping pong paddle. It can stun many enemies, toggle switches and collect mushrooms. Definitely one of the best items in both games.
