The iWit is "reprogrammable" others though might not be. Before I got these a pair of "volume controllers" I bought from another seller although showing pictures of controls label as iWit weren't them and weren't reassignable. While AutoHotkey allowed me to reassign the function since volume contols are virtual keys under USB (or something like that as I came to understand it, I might be getting the terminology wrong) getting them to be recognized as multiple separate devices would be incredible difficult (at least at my current knowledge level). I also did not get them primarily for MAME but since they can be I will utilize them that way too.
At the time I bought them and made this video (March 2021) in the US at least they were sold by/as a Drok USB Volume Control.
I have a vague sense that there was something else I wanted to type here but I can't remember what (if anything).
