Here I will show how to use a PGP key with Kleopatra and Yubikey.
This allows you to carry your private key inside the Yubikey without having any copy of your private key file inside your computer.

All you need to do is from the main key, create subkeys, load it into Yubikey, create the key stub file, register the key stub file into the computer you want to use it on (like your laptop), then you can use the Yubikey to sign, decrypt and authenticate.

Remember, make sure to back up your main private key!
