Using Logic Gates to control Robot Production - SB Plays Factorio (0.11.21) ep32
We open the episode with a restructured Science area with Blue Science being supplied solely by Logistics Robots.
With Robot Flying Frames being produced, we can now start on getting Robot production going. SB decides to setup a timing system to control the ratio of Logistics bots to Construction bots that are produced. Unfortunately it proves to be rather complicated to do onscreen, so we cut down the time spent by timelapsing portions of the episode.
We setup our fifth Roboport to cover our Robot Production area.
The forum post where my Robot Production setup can be found is here: http://www.factorioforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=5415
Our plan was to produce Logistics and Construction Robots at a ratio of 3:2 (Logistics:Construction), but it is currently configured to a 3:1 ratio. Once you get it setup, it is very easy to customize ratios.
