Using Space X’s Starship to Refuel a Lunar Lander! Artemis 3 – Part 1 | Kerbal Space Program #KSP
50How on Kerbin are we going to land on the Mun with a craft as big as Starship? By refueling it in orbit of course!
This is the next part of the currently* proposed Artemis Program, where several Space X Super Heavy booster launches will put a fuel depot into orbit, refuel it over with multiple tanker visits, and then have it top up the Starship Human Landing System (HLS) before it heads to the moon.
This is the stepping stone for the return to the Moon, and all the prep work required with NASA's current contract to use Starship as their Lunar Lander.
*Subject to the likely many changes coming it's way in the next few years...
