Here's a video which covers the operation of the C-1 autopilot equipment fitted to the B17G Flying Fortress. This is the A2A Simulations B17G Flying Fortress for Flight Simulator X, with Accu-sim installed.

In this video I will be providing commentary on how best to use the autopilot. The C-1 autopilot isn't exactly a 'one-touch' affair but you will find that with some practice and a little familiarity, using it will almost become second nature and its features will greatly reduce your fatigue especially when flying the B17 over long distances and extended periods of time.

Note that this video is not intended to teach you everything there is to know about the C-1, but you will learn the basics of how to activate it and use it to obtain level flight and also initiate turns as required.
