Using the Equalizer on the Ps1s Small Soldiers (Archers vs Chip Hazard Cheating Special)
1An example of how the Equalizer cheat cartridge works on the PlayStation with a parallel port but before that some of the Multimedia features of this cheat device:
1: You can play import games on your PlayStation if your cheat cartridge comes with a spring.
How this works is you open the Ps1 lid the pointy end of the spring goes in the tiny hole in the top right of the cd tray and the other end fits in the spiky mould on the right side of the Ps1 tray. Start cheat cartridge put any Pal ps1 game in the tray, slightly pull the lid forward till the disc spins and ends roughly few seconds and hold the position. Change discs to import game then close lid then press start game with cheats and repeat till it works.
If you go to options on the main menu you can:
2: Play music or view images from a cd or video game.
3: View Video image to view the last image of what was playing on your Ps1 till you turned it off I believe.
4: If you have an enhancement cd you can update your code list.
4: CD Rom player to play music or music from the video game.
Now getting back to adding cheat codes to this device I basically went to these great websites below and even though the cheat codes are not specified for the Equalizer they seemed to work on this cartridge :D

I then found a cheat code I liked by searching for game title and choosing the platform it was on thankfully it was already on the cheat disc but if it was not I would find a cheat code I liked on the website which is normally a combination of one, two or more rows of 12 numbers or letters.
I would then press x on the words select cheat codes, at this point, I would press x on the words New Game then press x on edit name for the game title or detect game cd for game name. Then press o and press x on exit and save o to return to select game where your game title is waiting for cheat codes.
I would then press x on the new game title, then x again on new code, add a cheat code title, then press down and x to type my first row of code. Then press o then down then left again to add more if needed. If done press x on exit & save.
At this point, I would press x to highlight my new typed code, press the start button on the words start game with selected codes.
Hopefully, after viewing this cheat cartridge in action, it will convince you it's worth buying :D
