Using Xbox Smartglass on Windows 8 to enter Borderlands 2 Shift Codes on Xbox 360

Hey everyone! I didn't see any videos on YouTube that really covered this, so I thought I'd fill that void, with a quick low-resolution video. This video's purpose is to show you how you can use Smartglass on a Windows 8 desktop/laptop to somewhat copy/paste Shift codes into your Xbox 360 version of Borderlands 2. Borderlands 2 on Xbox 360 requires you to enter only 5 characters at a time, which is inconvenient because you can't just copy/paste the entire string of 25 characters like you can on the PC version of Borderlands 2. Yes, you could just plug in a spare USB keyboard, or you could reach into your closet to find that Xbox Live Messenger chat pad that plugs into your controller, but I'm too lazy for that, and I have Smartglass at my disposal here. I'm hoping that Smartglass on Windows 8 will work for Xbox One games a bit easier than it does here, because I'm not buying a smartphone for this. :P

1) Run Borderlands 2 on your Xbox 360 while signed into Xbox Live, and then go to the Shift Codes menu.
2) You can get Borderlands 2 Shift codes by following Gearbox employees like Randy Pitchford (@DuvalMagic) on Twitter, following Gearbox/Borderlands on Facebook, or by visiting the orcz.com page for Shift Codes. http://orcz.com/Borderlands_2:_Golden_Key
3) Start up Smartglass on Windows 8. If you're planning on copy/pasting the codes, you'll want to click and hold the TOP of your screen and drag Smartglass off to the side like I did in the video, and pull up your desktop so it's front and center.
4) When the Xbox prompts you to enter 5 digits for a Shift code, use the remote/keyboard function on Smartglass to paste the codes 5 digits at a time. If you're copying the codes right of your internet browser, you should be fine as long as the codes are still active.
