In this video I will show you have to fix screen tearing on Nvidia Cards on linux using the proprietary drivers.

Notes: This a remake of my older video on this (It will be unlisted link bellow). Also if you some how don't have the nvidia-settings gui installed do a "sudo apt-get install nvidia-settings" , fedora "sudo dnf install nvidia-settings" , and for arch based distros "sudo pacman -S nvidia-settings".

Written Guide:

1. Open a terminal

*1.1 If some how you don't have nvidia-settings installed look up and find the commade to install it for your distro (apt-get ubutnu+ diversities , dnf install rhel 8/fedora , pacman arch= diversities.)

2. Do "sudo nvidia-settings"

3. Under advanced choose "Force Full Compostition" (Tip: If you have two or more monitor/displays enable it for all of them"

*4. Click save to x config (Saves for settings after a reboot , thats why we need to run it as root)

5. Click apply and exit.

Hope this helps!
