Valheim - Castle Building Guide - Medieval Castle Design (Time Lapse)
Welcome to my new castle Building Guide.
This is a more traditional Medieval Castle design, there is a portcullis on each gate with a murder hole above the entrance to fire down on attackers from above.
Crenulations run around the walls and towers, the varying heights mean you can cover the walls from all angles.
I built a large central keep and a chapel, although Odin may not approve of that addition.
The central Keep Houses have a mead/potion room at the base with a kitchen and dining room on the second floor. I built a hearth in the corner of the kitchen and left a hole in the roof for the smoke.
Inside the Chapel, I built a small barracks in the roof and a large crafting area in the back of the room.
Smelters, blast furnace and charcoal furnace are in the small courtyard outside.
The chapel is still dedicated to the Norse gods and the quest to vanquish Odin's enemies
Valheim comes to Xbox Game pass on 29/09/22, visit my channel for the best How to build guides.
Building requires the structure to be supported from the ground up. Building large structures on Valheim can be complicated but I have easy guides for building houses, castles and Viking Longhouses.
