Valheim Review - King Of Early Access?
12Valheim has taken the world by storm in the last couple weeks, and with good reason! It is the latest Early Access game, open world, survival, crafting, the whole list is there! Early Access can be a tricky thing, games like Rust, Rimworld, Kenshi, Oxygen Not Included have all left Early Access and achieved many successes. This review aims to keep that in mind while we peep around this fun new game.
Other games use Early Access, or Beta, or Alpha, as an excuse to seemingly never progress any further towards Full Release. These games are still fun to play, but there's an overwhelming sense of "It ain't ever gonna be finished"
But not all games are created equally. Sometimes, Early Access is used as a veil, hiding shady companies and dirty money grabs. Minimal effort is put forth, and moment any profits are made, the game is abandoned.
Thankfully, Valheim doesn't seem to fall in line with those latter comparisons. The game is off to a great start, I had so much fun putting this review together, I really hope you enjoy it as well!
