The continuing adventures in the Valheim world we've have been running since Hearth and Home was released. All vanilla, no mods, survivor mode.

This is a gathering video where I then engage in ranged combat with a gjall. Recording was made during patch 0.220.4.

I finally made it to the Mistlands for the first part of my shopping trip, gathering some sap.

I have four extractors set up around one of my community portals and enough wisp torches around so I don't have to equip my own. Usually, but today was a little different as there was a gjall very close by.

I was able to get the high ground, load Storm Ripper, but I couldn't see the gjall.

Once I moved a bit closer it appeared. It must have been right on the edge of draw range.

Thankfully, I was able to get its attention with some blots and landed a few shots. However, it turned and ran away. I did hear it bombing someone. I hope the Dvergr was okay.

I jumped closer again, onto the rock that I had partially cleared away from an ancient sword. It was awkward, but was able to land the final blow.

My stomach rumbled and I ran up the hill for a victory snack. Then I floated back to the portal and went home... I need to get caps later and then I can finally cook some more food.

Then it is back to building the tower...
