The continuing adventures in the Valheim world we've have been running since Hearth and Home was released. All vanilla, no mods, survivor mode.

This is a surtling event video with a bit of fire, a little bit of sword & board, and a touch of magic. Recording was made during patch 0.218.19.

I'm starting to gather food and gear for our run against Fader. So, I'm in the community kitchen near the center of the Village... shouting at the wind... and doing stupid things with windmills, when surtling arrive.

But my pies!

Okay, pies are out, and now I can make sure the surtling do not set the walls on fire.

They got a couple of hits in, but not enough to set anything on fire, thankfully.

Mistwalker made easy work of the surtling, and the flametal shield had no problem blocking.

After switching to the Staff of the Wild, I was pleasantly surprised to see that even the area splash damage from the vine attack was enough to take out a surtling. They have very little health, so it shouldn't be a shock.

I was able to clean up the rest of the surtling and pick up a bit of coal before going back to shouting at the wind...

I really need to process more barley, and I might need to make a few more windmills...
