The continuing adventures in the Valheim world we've have been running since Hearth and Home was released. All vanilla, no mods, survivor mode.

This is an extended build video where I make some generators and some mistakes that need fixing. Recording was made during patch 0.218.19.

I'm still preparing the Village for the fight with Fader.

I know we'll get some fiery visitors after the boss fight, and I want to start getting prepared for the event.

I started off at home, where the night before I learned that I need a stone floor, or ground. Since the stone base had already been extended for an asksvin skeleton, it wasn't too hard to add a couple of pieces of grausten floor and place the generator. The bones are kept nearby, but I might need to make another outdoor chest.

In the Pavilion, there was only one really good option for the generator and it was above the benches in the middle.

Thankfully, I was able to add some grausten floors... after first attempting with wood floors one more time...

I needed to support the floor. So I added some grausten columns, and demolished the core wood columns. Except I forgot that those columns were now floating on wood. After running outside to take a look at the bubble, the columns started to collapse.

I added more grausten floors under the columns, since that is what I had one me. In hindsight, I could have used a bit of stone and saved some material... meh... it is fine...

After placing the floors, the integrity kept dropping. I went into the basement and under the workbenches to find out what I was missing. The floors weren't supported properly because I keep forgetting that the grausten floors are only 0.5m thick!

I added another layer or grausten to support the columns and they finally turned green.

I'll need a few dozen shield cores... probably at least four to protect the dock... Then I'll have to see what roofs can be replaced...

I can't wait to keep building...
