Valheim - Snapshot - Building Portals to Fader - Squeezing Another in Under the Community Pavilion
The continuing adventures in the Valheim world we've have been running since Hearth and Home was released. All vanilla, no mods, survivor mode.
This is an extended building video with a look around the basement of the community building, we call the Pavilion. Recording was made during patch 0.218.19.
As the prep for Fader continues, there's one thing that I need to do, and that is make a portal in the basement of the community building.
Set in the center of town, what we call the Pavilion, is our community crafting and storage building. Under the main level, we dug out a basement for boss portal and boss materials.
I've been running out of room for a while... I'm not sure where I'll put the Deep North boss portal when that comes...
Anyway, with little room to spare, I put another portal platform up in the basement. I needed to use the door offset trick to get the steps to line up and give me a walking path past my tree, but otherwise I was able to get the portal placed no problem.
Once over in the Ashlands, at Fort Bell, the closest fortress that I've got to a boss arena, I dropped the connecting portal into an alcove.
With the portals connected and a chest in the basement for the bells, we're a big step closer to fighting the boss... or at least having a good way back if we die in the process...
Fingers crossed it doesn't come to that...
This clip is from day 2070 and will be included in an upcoming video.
Thanks for watching.
