In 1999 Square Enix in their hay day after releasing Final Fantasy 7 decide to try their hand at something a little different. Released on the PS1 this game was called Valkyrie Profile. After is success Square released 2 prequels as well as an updated adaptation on the PSP. Today (2022) they have decided to reboot the series with Valkyrie Elysium.

The story follows a New Valkyrie by the name of Nora and she has been tasked with preventing the completion of Ragnarök. In typical fashion she must travel the world looking for souls worthy of becoming her Einherjar.

Valkyrie Elysium is an action RPG with heavy mechanics in action combat and Dodging mechanics to stay alive.
