Valve Source Code 2013 Tutorial (Episode 27): Miscellaneous Flashlight Features
Hello everyone and welcome to a new (probably short) series of videos I do involving the source code from Valve for Half-Life 2, and some guides on how to do stuff with this code. In this episode, I outline how to restore the jeep's headlight functionality, how to make it so the flashlight originates from a viewmodel attachment instead of the player, how to add a flashlight lagging effect and how to incorporate said effect to vehicle headlights. I have to give a massive shout-out and thank you to WadDelZ for providing me with the flashlight lagging code! I wanted to do some testing with my audio for this video, but I screwed it up and that's why the audio sounds different, I apologize for fucking up! Please let me know what you think and see you for whatever I decide to do next, thanks for watching!
