Valve Source Code 2013 Tutorial (Episode 3.5): Scope-In Colour Overlay & Beta Binoculars Similar Fix
Hello everyone and welcome to a new (probably short) series of videos I do involving the source code from Valve for Half-Life 2, and some guides on how to do stuff with this code. In this episode, I followup on a previous tutorial about being able to scope-in using the Half-Life 2 Beta Sniper Rifle after a level transition, by allowing the screen to fade a predetermined colour upon zooming in, plus how to apply the original tutorial to the Half-Life 2 Beta Binoculars. Currently, there is an issue where the Binoculars cannot be zoomed in after a level transition and must be zoomed out first, which I couldn't figure out a fix for.
