Vampire: the Masquerade - The Sabbat History (Lore)
Unlike their eternal enemies, the Camarilla, the Sabbat continuously struggle with itself and its leadership. Civil war is a common occurrence in the Sword of Caine, and although it has taken a heavy toll on the sect, they have always come out stronger for it.
In this episode we learn about some of the key points of history of the Sabbat, the darker sect of Vampire: the Masquerade. We talk about the early European struggles, the expansion into the New World, the Frontier wars and, of course, the Purchase Pact and the Code of Milan, two documents uniting the Cainites of the Sabbat behind a common cause and set of rules.
We also quickly discuss the origins of the Paths of Enlightenment, the alternative moral codes of many vampires who refuse to hold on to their humanity.
We're also trying out a new endscreen, hopefully making the credit-roll a bit more legible. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone, no matter what you celebrate!
