Vanguard Bandits - Chapter 20 (Good) - Light and Darkness
Welcome to the Final Chapter of the Kingdom Route of Vanguard Bandits! This chapter leads to the Good ending of the game, The condition is to have high Morale within your Party. (Having Stars/Hearts means high rating, Triangle/Squares low rating, since most of my party has a high/Good Rating as a average then good end. If the party had alot of Squares and Triangle which is usually caused by losing units over and over that leads to another version of the stage..)
When all said and done, Faulkner's first line dictates on which ending the game set you too.
Anyway this is the Final stage and we're got quite a few things to be worried about. The beginning line up of enemies is nothing to worry about if the usual strategy is used (turbulence to stun and go in for the kill), while having a couple of sharkings and a Logan on the field.. it shouldn't be difficult.
Unfortunately 30-40 turns in, a couple of reinforcements appear in form of sharkings and they appear twice through the whole Stage, so if you're surrounded by the initial batch or the first set of reinforcements... You're going to lose some units. Sadira herself is AI Controlled (kinda wish she wasn't cause she sucks lol), She will get herself killed quite easily but thankfully if she get's k.o'd it doesn't affect anything.
Not every unit moves immediately so that can be a saving Grace but its better to take care of everything and being careful in doing so. When its done, we have the big bad to deal with and that's obviously Faulkner with his Zulwarn.
Zulwarn can be considered one of the most broken and OP units to have. The reason are as follows
1) Extremely High HP
2) Attacks done on Enemy turn causes no FP while if attacked, counter attacks count the same as a counter
3) It has some range.
4) Attacks hurt
In short, Rushing in without a plan is suicide.
The usual strategy works though as to get in with units that have turbulence, like Zeira/Andrew/Barlow. Have them use it as many times as they can (4 attacks needed to stun) and then have everyone rush in and hit as hard as they can.
If everything goes well, your units are fast and hit hard enough, Faulkner should go down within 2 or so turns. It's important that Bastion deals the final blow (that includes a cinematic on its own) as defeating him with any other units will cause him to recover half its max hp (or so a guide said when confirming if something would happen!)
