VANILLA Lookback - Part 2
5As inspiration for my challenge, I decided to give players a look back at my own beginnings with "Vanilla" Minecraft.
This was my adventure map, created February 2011. Inspired by Yogscast, my intention was to load this onto a multiplayer server, and to follow along and narrate the story to my 8 year old son as he played through. Once complete, I found out that our laptops were NOT powerful enough to run a multiplayer server, so I had him play single player while I narrated over his shoulder.
This was not built entirely Vanilla. It was right after I installed Single Player Commands for the first time, so that I could spawn items (/i) and this was the first time I tried using //cyl and //sphere.
It's also when I realized that I don't like block-NPCs.
