Achievement: Variable Combo - Ryu
Character: Ryu
Objective: Perform a 40% damage (around 58 damage points) Custom Combo / Variable Combo using V-ISM on Training Mode (Damage 2, no Special/S.C shortcuts).
Combo: (corner) LP + LK (Activates Custom Combo 1), ←↙↓↘→ + HP, ← + HP, ↓↘→ + HP, ← + HP, ↓↘→ + HP, ← + HP, ↓↘→ + HP, ← + HP, ↓↘→ + HP, ← + HP.
Combo resumed: LP + LK (Activates Custom Combo 1), ←↙↓↘→ + HP, (← + HP, ↓↘→ + HP) x 4, ← + HP.
Notes:
The Custom combo / Variable Combo is activated by pressing a kick and a punch with the same strength. The strength you choose changes the position of the colored shadow that is the only one that hits the opponent. The combo uses LP + LK, but probably works with the other variations, but I didn't test it.
Don't mash "← + HP" during the combo. You have to time every "← + HP" in order to keep the dummy at the right height. The timing is usually right after the hadouken comes out.
"←↙↓↘→ + HP" and "↓↘→ + HP" are almost the same move, but they do different things. "←↙↓↘→ + HP" it is the fire hadouken, that knocks the opponent. While "↓↘→ + HP" it is the normal hadouken, that don't knocks the opponent. The combo must start with "←↙↓↘→ + HP" to knocks the opponent in the beginning, but for the other hadoukens it doesn't matter if you use "←↙↓↘→ + HP" and "↓↘→ + HP".
This same combo works with Evil Ryu. So you can use this to unlock his combo achievement (Variable Combo - Evil Ryu).
This combo was tested against Ryu using V-ISM, but be aware that the combo damage may change when you change your opponent or the ISM. Characters like Zangief and Birdie take less damage while X-ISM takes more damage. So, the same combo may unlock the achievement a bit earlier if you do this combo against Akuma in X-ISM.
"Safe Fall" Option: this option makes sure the combo can't be escaped, so it ensures the combo is usable in normal gameplay. I switched this option to "Back", but I strongly recommend not changing the default value, since it makes the combo easier.
