This game was pretty fun. I used save states just to be able to experience the game all the way through because having to start the whole game over every time you game over is amazing.
The game is a lot simpler than I remember as a kid, but it's been almost 30 years since I've played this game so that's totally understandable.
I think over all this game is pretty good, just some minor issues for me in my opinion, mostly the timer. It really cuts out the want to explore the stages and find everything since you don't have a lot of time depending on what stage you're on.
Obviously replaying the game multiple times you'll more than likely find most things and the better routes to take through the stages for power ups and stuff, but we don't got that kind of time in today's world.
This game is fun for what it is though, and I'm glad they added it to Nintendo Switch Online so it's available for everyone with access to enjoy.
