Venice Arts Program Connects Underserved Youth With Hollywood Apprenticeships
Venice Arts is a Los Angeles-based media arts education organization on a mission to close the gap between young people living in poverty and established artists. Founder Lynn Warshafksy dials-in with apprentice Maya to share how the nonprofit helped Maya land an editing apprenticeship with NBCUniversal to create a PSA for the International Bird Rescue Organization using footage from Illumination's new movie "Migration." Pilot Pen awards Venice Arts $1,000 to help more students achieve their dreams.
