Vergil Has Devil Trigger TOO?! | Devil May Cry 3 [5]
4Y’all, everyone warned me about Vergil… but NO ONE warned me about Beowulf!
Honestly, Beowulf was still easier than Agni & Rudra, BUT he definitely makes it into my Top 2 hardest DMC3 bosses so far. His first phase was cake. But once he hit phases two and three, he was tossing me around like a ragdoll. Every time I thought I had his timing down, he switched up his pattern and CRUSHED me. Literally. The big guy flattened me like a bug, many times!
Thank goodness I found another Holy Water, because without it I don’t even want to imagine how long that fight would’ve lasted.
Now… back to Vergil. Don’t get me wrong, he’s still TOUGH. Right now, I’d rank him as the third hardest boss in DMC3. His Devil Trigger is POWERFUL. It feels like it regenerates faster than Dante’s and gives him way too much health back. Even with Holy Water on my side, Vergil still nearly finished me off. But hey! At least this fight was tough in a fun, satisfying way.
