At CES 2012 in Las Vegas, LG announced the Spectrum Android smartphone for Verizon Wireless. It's essentially a Nitro HD or Optimus LTE for Verizon's 4G LTE network. Like those devices, the LG Spectrum sports a 4.5″ True HD 720p IPS display (329 pixel density), Qualcomm's 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory, 8 megapixel rear camera, 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera, 4G LTE connectivity, and it runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread (upgradable to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich).
