Join us for Veterans Day at The National WWII Museum as we commemorate those who have selflessly served our country and whose sacrifices we must never forget. It is at the foundation of our mission to preserve the stories of American servicemembers and honor all who have and continue to honorably serve our great nation.

To mark this holiday, the Museum proudly offers FREE admission to veterans of all conflicts.

This Veterans Day, the Museum will open a groundbreaking new exhibit, Our War, Too: Women in Service, recognizing the efforts, struggles, and accomplishments of the nearly 350,000 American women who answered the call to serve their country during World War II.

To celebrate this special exhibit, all women who have served in the Armed Forces are invited to attend the Museum's Veterans Day Commemoration Ceremony and help lead a second-line parade featuring Belle Chasse Academy's brass band to the Senator John Alario, Jr. Special Exhibition Hall for a ribbon-cutting and Champagne toast. The ribbon cutting will not be livestreamed.

Registration for this event is encouraged but not required. For more information, contact Jessica Saddler, Veteran & Military Engagement Specialist, at jessica.saddler@nationalww2museum.org.
