VGC Mixed Tape Volume 1 - PC Engine Mixed Music
Volume 1 of the VGC Mixed Music Tape Collection.
Since I've picked up a few more PC Engine games and new "old stock" of sealed audio cassettes recently, I thought it might be fun to put together a mixed tape of some awesome PCE game music. Well...it turned out to be a process; I had to order the right cables first and then I had issues getting the record transfer to work properly. I recorded at the highest optimal level but then when I play it back the meter reading on the cassette deck displays a lot lower...I don't know.
Anyway, as you can see, this was recorded on a vintage Sansui Stereo Cassette Deck D-95M from 1981 (specifications listed below). Recorded through my very beautiful 1978 Sansui G-7000 Pure Power DC Receiver (specifications listed below).
