Fittingly, I'm pretty sure it was seminal escape room games such as the Crimson Room series and MOTAS which first got me interested in the adventure game genre, and this game definitely counted among them. To me it feels very nostalgic and reminiscent of childhood to think about the impressions it made on me when I first played it as a wee lad, what with the spooky skeleton in the room, unsettling ambience and just the inherent uncertainty of the entire premise coming off as more than just a little spooky and making the tidbits of plot that much more memorable. Perhaps one day I too will be a spook in search of some spirit beer so I can find peace and ascend to heaven.
