Victoria 3 Dev Diary 1 : Victoria 3 Dev diary 1 focuses on the aspect of Pops and how they important to gameplay. Pops have been greatly expanded because there appears to be more of them compared to Victoria 2. An example is that I noticed that machinists exist now and the dev diary states that pops will will be divided by Culture, Profession, Religion , Culture and workplace.

Laws have a significant effect on pops because they impact them more than they did in Victoria 2. An example of this is when you go to war, your deponents will lose there income so the countries economy will suffer. Situations like this would force an individual to enact polices such as pensions, so there country can heal from the war.

Victoria 3 has so much information, when it comes to displaying every aspect of life that your pops have to go through. Information such as Wages, Political strength, population of certain group, Literacy and net Income of each province can be seen.

Victoria 3 will focus on mechanics to focus on domestic issues related to playing a country. Victoria 3 is a society builder. I am so excited for Victoria 3 since the announcement, I remember the days when this was a meme lol.
