Welcome to my playthrough of Victory Ascent, a collaborative meme remake of Super Mario Treasure World. In this video, I complete Stem Major, an edit of Spruce Stem created by Iwer Sonsch, by collecting its 6 stars. Enjoy!

2:42 Another Troublesome Timer (Star 2)
5:05 New Path to the Tumble Wallkicks (Star 1)
8:14 This Used to be a Stealthy Place (Star 4)
11:00 Not So Wide Wind Way (Star 3)
14:00 Find a Path to the Top (Star 5)
16:57 Are You Kidding Me, 39 Reds??? (Star 6/Reds)

Enjoyment: 7/10
Attempt Time (Reds): 1 Hour

Spruce Stem is a level people generally dislike, so it's pretty cool to get to play a reworked version. I think Iwer did a pretty good job at fixing a lot of the problems in this stage by replacing the terrible Treetop Rock port, fixing a lot of the colliison issues and adding extra paths that connect the level. It's genuinely a fun time now, but it definitely still has flaws: The level can easily crash, and some of the jumps are just way more precise than they should be. These issues definitely didn't ruin the stage for me, it's just really unfortunate that they exist since I feel like they could've easily been avoided. Anyways, nice stage, good job Iwer.

By the way, my reds attempts was super scuffed. I generally played pretty sloppily, and I even ended up doing an extra reclimb (24:30). Oh well.
