In this edition of our 3UPMOON Viewer Request Retro Nights, we take on the following games:

001 ~ Double Dribble (@GrimBOMB)

~ An NES basketball game developed by Konami, who created an all-around decent basketball experience for such a limited console. This is the very first Nintendo Entertainment System game requested on the viewer request nights, and it reminded me a lot of the quick 1v1 matches I used to have in 'Blades of Steel 2' as a kid.

002 ~ Animaniacs (@StegosaurusMcCartney)

~ Animaniacs on the Super Nintendo, is drastically different than the Sega Genesis version, and I never played this game growing up. As a fan of the show, they got the art-work and sprites spot on here, but the increasing difficulty of the Battletoads-like levels and some awkward controls make for a tough experience.

003 ~ Altered Space: A 3-D Alien Adventure (@michelleb)

~ This is a simplistic isometric space-themed puzzle game, framed as a dungeon exploration experience. It's part of the same series, as 'Solstice' and 'Equinox' and developed by Sony Imagesoft. The music was composed by Geoff Follin and the game becomes very tedious very quickly ~ I probably wouldn't play it again, given the chance.
