According to ViewSonic, the "next big thing" in home theater experiences is housed in a "surprisingly small" package. Despite having a "ultra-compact" form factor, its new projector can project bright, color-accurate images up to 100 inches at a distance of less than three meters. The integrated speakers in the M10 have also been upgraded with Harman Kardon tuning.
The newest portable projector from ViewSonic is said to be as "agile" and adaptable as they come because of the time-of-flight (ToF) and keystone correction sensors that power the "instant auto focus" that allows the projector to focus on its surroundings no matter where it is.
However, the M10 is also marketed as an accessory worthy of a home theater, with RGB lasers rated to fully cover the "cinema-grade" BT.2020 color gamut. Additionally, it has a throw range of 1.06 meters (m) to 4.78 meters (for a 100-inch image viewed from 2.66 meters away); nevertheless, 1080p is its native resolution.
However, ViewSonic claims that with a maximum brightness of 2,200 lumens and an integrated 7W Harman Kardon speaker, it can provide an experience that is nearly identical to watching a television.
