- There are a couple of "light recipes" that allow you to craft difficult items such as the gapple or a damaged anvil for fewer iron ingots.
- World border is set to 1,000x 1,000 and will start shrinking at 30 minutes in going down to 64 x 64 in 1 hour
- Friendly fire is off (you can't hurt your teammates)
- PVP is enabled after 15 minutes
- Ghasts drop gold ingots
- Level 2 potions are disabled
- Perma day will be activated 20 minutes into the game
