Very pleased to have this final V3.0 version of Violent Breathing finished and posted. I always had a vision for this song that I was happy with in the previous 2.0 copy, but the mastering was far from perfect and needed a lot of tuning up.
For a song called "Violent Breathing," the original didn't sound very violent at all, so my vision was to start off with the original track and then slowly enter darker, more aggressive territory (ie: the "violent" part). The inclusion of synth metal guitars fits well with the chiptune sounds to create a thundering expanded section before the song does a 360 right back into the original composition. It is also one of the few SOR remixes that I believe benefits from the frugal inclusion of vocal samples. The objective for this song is purely to hype your heart-rate. Nothing more, nothing less.
