Constructs as they call them, are soldiers in the ICS(Intergalactic Combative Security)'s forces who serves as sword and shield against unknown threats, whether it's a virus, invasion, war, e.t.c.
Most of them are Cyborg's, as the massive loss of human lives rose with the virus spreading across the earth. A lot of them are quite young, being in their mid 20s or early 30s.
However, some of these units are fully robots, gifted with certain personalities and looks for them to sell better. The ICS isn't much for using robots in combat, in case of necessary emergency or if their system fails, however they do have some, which are mainly used for safer tasks, like technological issues that their forces can't deal with.

They're scattered into several trios, squads and groups, which are given a color and an animal, making it easier to find head and tails in compared to numbers.
Crimson Lions, Violet Vipers, Scarlet Scarecrows, e.t.c.

Violet Vipers specifically, is a trio of two Tank/Charge units, and a Healer/Tech unit.
Nathan absolutely hates being sent with them, but it's usually because other tasks are considered too dangerous for him, as he's not only very young, but also defenseless without Mecha 25.
The trio doesn't like him either, so they're often very fast about the tasks and missions they receive.
