Truth be told I don't like VF5 Final Showdown because of the stupid choices made within the game. Whilst I'm happy we have returning characters (but lets be honest here they NEVER should have been removed in the first place) the fact that everyone has had their moves changed and in some cases removed completely....it just seems like such a stupid choice to make.

The game does improve upon the original by adding new stages and improving previous ones but then the game takes two steps backwards by making some past stages smaller and then adding insult to injury by messing with the sound effects and audio.

This video shows just how different this game is compared to the original VF5 and how its typical of Sega to take something great and that works and then mess it up.

Now in 2021 Sega have gone and done just that YET AGAIN with VF5 Ultimate Final Showdown and the choices made with that game.
