As the Nintendo Switch Online library of classic games gets ready to potentially make the leap into the next-generation with the Switch 2, everybody is predicting what systems Nintendo could add on new hardware. Will we finally start seeing GameCube titles show up? What about the TurboGrafx-16 or Neo Geo? Is it too much to ask for the Nintendo DS?
Honestly, I hope all of those classic consoles find their way to Nintendo’s next system, but I’m here today to make the case for a piece of hardware that never gets brought up in the discussion. A piece of hardware that Nintendo all but refuses to even acknowledge. It’s a system that can certainly be called a portable, but it’s definitely not a handheld console. That’s right, I’m here to say that it’s tine to add the Virtual Boy to the Nintendo Switch Online.
