Today I will walk you through the process of installing Virtual Desktop on your Oculus Quest so that you can play Oculus Rift and Steam VR games without using the Link cable.

This is a replacement video that has been updated with more information.

You do want to have a computer that will support virtual reality. Play around with the settings in Virtual Desktop to ensure the best gameplay possible. Make sure you have and maintain the most recent versions of these downloads.

You will need to get the Virtual Desktop apps from SideQuest and the Oculus Quest store. Here are those links -

Other downloads you will need -

Oculus Software (Rift version for your computer) - https://www.oculus.com/setup/
Revive to play your Oculus Rift games - https://github.com/LibreVR/Revive/releases
Steam VR - https://store.steampowered.com/app/330050/Main_SteamVR/

Download Steam to your desktop as well.

You will also need to download the streamer app - https://www.vrdesktop.net/
