I've been joking up to this point but these last 2 beefed up boss fights are definitely, seriously NOT JOKING! I fought that Vampire about 20 times in total, had to load up an old save to go find the Light Sword and then it still took a whiiiiile. But we did it in the end and with minimal(ish) swearing.

Each new game randomizes locations of key dungeons and objects and on harder difficulty settings items are unknown until used. Derided at the time for its sub-par framerate and visuals the game remains a playable, intriguing and frequently-strategic action/RPG.
