Visions of Mana DEMO (PS4) A Better Port Than PC Version?
0I remain astonished that my PS4 runs this 2024 game better than a desktop that runs the Forspoken demo.
I have no idea what happened with the PC demo for Visions of Mana.
Final Fantasy Adventure is the North American name for a Japanese Game Boy title named Seiken Densetsu: Final Fantasy Gaiden. It was supposedly a spin-off from the man Final Fantasy series, but it's kind of a nonsensical claim; none of the mainline Final Fantasy games at the time were connected in any meaningful way.
Final Fantasy Adventure's gameplay is mostly similar to Legend of Zelda. The realtime action contains a twist that will be familiar to those who have played Legendary Axe: your attack power is increased when you don't swing your weapon, up to a point. This system is intended to discourage spamming the attack button, but shouldn't significantly affect your playstyle early in the game. A variant of this mechanic would be used in the game's sequel, Secret of Mana.
